The LMP large character USB keyboard KB-1243-BIG has been specially developed for people with impaired vision. The size of the letters and numbers has been increased by up to 400%, which makes typing much easier for visually impaired people.

The robust USB keyboard in a 3-zone layout with 110 keys (ISO) and an anodised aluminium cover has a numeric keypad that also contains the "=" sign. This allows you to work quickly with numbers and in spreadsheets. The characters are laser-engraved with a large font and are therefore pleasantly smooth for the fingertips. The keys are characterised by a traditional keystroke. Thanks to the high responsiveness and precision, even longer typing sessions can be completed comfortably. The elegant design allows the keyboard to blend seamlessly into any Mac environment.

The two USB ports on each side of the keyboard allow convenient operation of USB peripherals with low power consumption (e.g. USB mouse or USB flash memory).

The KB-1243-BIG features special function keys, such as screen brightness adjustment, music on/off, fast forward/rewind, sound off, volume up/down, disc eject and mission control. Alternatively, the programmable function keys F1 to F19 can also be used. With a simple key combination (fn + esc), the user can switch from the setting of the special function keys to the function keys.

KB-1243-BIG can be connected to both older and current Macs with a free USB port (from OS X 10.5 to 10.11, macOS 10.12 and higher)
