Important information on the conditions of entry for our exciting competitions with the chance to win great prizes!
Data Quest AG in the following referred to as DQ Solutions, regularly runs competitions on its own website or via the social media channels used (e.g. Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Youtube or TikTok) and is responsible for running them. Therefore, all questions and comments regarding the Contest should be directed to DQ Solutions. DQ Solutions cannot guarantee the proper functioning of the websites on which the Contest is run. To the extent permitted by law, DQ Solutions shall only be liable for damage caused by DQ Solutions or its vicarious agents intentionally or through gross negligence.
DQ Solutions reserves the right to change, interrupt or terminate the competition at any time without justification, taking into account the interests of the participants, should technical reasons or suspicion of manipulation stand in the way of proper conduct, or should the competition be inadmissible for legal reasons. DQ Solutions is entitled to exclude participants from the competition who attempt to violate the competition rules or provide false information about themselves or misuse the comment functions, e.g. for spam, insults or threats. Comments that violate our rules of conduct will be deleted.
The specific conditions of participation will be published on the corresponding platform with the start of the competition. Participation in a competition is never linked to the purchase of goods or the paid use of a service, nor does this increase the chances of winning.
Participants agree that DQ Solutions may use the posted or submitted entries, photos, videos and other media for marketing purposes.
All persons resident in Switzerland who have reached the age of 14 are eligible to participate on Instagram and Facebook. On LinkedIn, all persons resident in Switzerland who have reached the age of 18 are eligible to participate.
Unless otherwise stated in the competition, only one entry per person is possible, provided the correct personal details are given.
Employees of DQ Solutions, as well as their relatives, relatives and commissioned agencies, as well as competition clubs, automated services and other commercial or professional participants are excluded from participation.
Participation in the competition is only possible during the defined period and according to the rules on which the competition is based. Correspondence regarding the competition is not possible and will only take place with the winner. The legal process is excluded.
The winner will be drawn in camera or, in the case of a photo/video competition, determined in an internal voting procedure and notified via electronic means of communication (e-mail, social media) after the end of the competition.
By entering, the participant agrees that DQ Solutions may notify the participant via the social media channel. Winnings not collected within 4 months of notification will be forfeited without replacement.
The prize will be defined at the start of the competition and cannot be assigned to a third party, exchanged or paid out in cash. All operating, ancillary and consequential costs arising from the use of the prize shall be borne by the winner. Prizes over CHF 1000 may be subject to withholding tax and will be reported by us to the Swiss Federal Tax Administration. DQ Solutions is entitled to wait with the delivery of the prize until the current confirmation of residence and, if applicable, other documents required under tax law have been received.
While entries from the competition may be used for marketing purposes, personal data will be treated confidentially. The guidelines for the processing of personal data in accordance with the Data Protection Act in Switzerland will be observed at all times. The competitions are governed exclusively by Swiss law to the exclusion of the conflict of law rules. The exclusive place of jurisdiction is the registered office of DQ Solutions.
Should individual regulations within these conditions of participation be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining regulations shall remain unaffected.
