What do I need to do if I want to switch to a new device?

If one wishes to trade in their old device and upgrade to a new device in the last month of the contract term, one can save the remaining installment (residual value) and enter into a new ReFresh contract with a new term for the desired new device. If the device costs the same, one simply continues to pay the same low monthly rate or a slightly higher rate if the device is more expensive.

What happens if the device becomes defective or damaged during the ReFresh contract period?

The device is covered by the regular Apple warranty. If the duration is longer than the warranty or the device is accidentally damaged, the customer is responsible for having the device repaired at an authorized Apple Service Partner at the customer's expense. We recommend choosing one of the extended warranty packages for a few extra francs per month when purchasing the device if one wants to cover this risk.

In what condition must the device be upon return?

(The following notes are informative, the contract concluded between the customer and HeyLight for the return of the device applies.). If a device is in used, but very good and fully functional condition, it can be returned at the guaranteed residual value and upgraded to a new device. DQ Solutions checks the condition of the device upon receipt. If the condition is worse than the required minimum, the residual value can be reduced according to the defects of the device.
