EIZO CS2740 Swiss Edition

The CS2740 is the first 27-inch ColorEdge monitor with 4K UHD resolution. It has a USB-C port with 60 watt charging power. The CS2740 displays images, videos and graphics in 4K UHD resolution with ultimate sharpness, absolute precision and rich colours. The monitor's wide colour gamut reproduces 99% of the Adobe RGB colour space and ensures detailed colour reproduction.

4K UHD resolution

Thanks to the resolution of 3840 x 2160 (4K UHD), the monitor has an enormous pixel density of 164 ppi. Visible monitor pixels are therefore guaranteed to be a thing of the past and even the monitor display conveys a very meaningful impression of the subsequent print resolution. Films can be assessed, cut and graded with the CS2740 in full 4K UHD resolution.

Wide colour space coverage

A large colour space allows the entire Adobe RGB colour space to be displayed, so that images captured in Adobe RGB format are displayed correctly. The colours in images showing a bright blue sky and lush green forests are reproduced faithfully in a way that is not possible on screens with an sRGB colour space. The large colour space also ensures a complete representation of the CMYK colour system (ISO Coated and US Web Coated).

Simultaneous 10-bit colour display

By using the DisplayPort or HDMI input, the ColorEdge monitors allow simultaneous 10-bit colour display based on a 16-bit look-up table (LUT). This means that more than one billion colour tones can be displayed simultaneously. That is 64 times more colours than an 8-bit display. The result is an even finer tonal gradation and a reduced Delta-E value between two neighbouring colour tones.

Uniform brightness and colour display thanks to DUE

Irregularities in brightness and chrominance in different areas of the screen are characteristic of LCD monitors. EIZO's patented Digital Uniformity Equaliser (DUE) function compensates for these irregularities and ensures a consistent display across the entire screen surface.
