Bitlocker device encryption and Windows Information Protection (WIP)

If your device is lost or stolen, BitLocker and BitLocker To Go lock everything down so no one can access your systems or data. WIP protects against potential data leaks without compromising the employee work environment. WIP also helps protect corporate applications and data from accidental data leaks on company-owned devices and personal devices that employees bring to work without requiring any changes to your environment or other applications.

Will my accessories still work with Windows 11?

If your accessory worked with Windows 10 and meets the requirements of Windows 11, it should work with Windows 11. If you want to be sure, please contact your accessory manufacturer.

How do I know if my current Windows 10 PC meets the hardware requirements for Windows 11?

Can I continue to use Windows 10?

Yes, you do not need to upgrade to Windows 11. We will continue to support Windows 10 until 14 October 2025.

Does Windows 11 require more storage space on my PC than Windows 10?

No. Windows 11 and Windows 10 require approximately the same amount of storage space. However, additional storage space is required during the upgrade process. Windows will clean up this extra space about ten days after the upgrade is complete.

ESD stands for Electronic Software Distribution. There is generally no cancellation/return option for ESD software. It is therefore essential that you check that you have selected the correct version and operating system before placing your order.

After purchasing the ESD software, you will receive an e-mail with the licence key(s) and a web link that you can use to download the software, activate the licence(s) and, depending on the manufacturer, download a software certificate.
