Cisco PoE+ Switch C1000-48P-4X-L 48 Port
The Cisco Catalyst 1000 Series switches are fixed managed Gigabit Ethernet Layer 2 switches designed for small businesses and branch offices. They are simple, flexible and secure switches that are ideal for out-of-the-wiring environments and critical Internet of Things (IoT) deployments. The Cisco Catalyst 1000 switches are powered by Cisco IOS software and support simple device and network management via a command-line interface (CLI) and an on-box web user interface. These switches provide small businesses with enhanced network security, network reliability and operational efficiency. The Cisco Catalyst 1000 Series switches are available in 8, 16, 24 or 48 Gigabit Ethernet port variants with or without PoE+ ports. With 2 or 4 fixed 1 Gigabit Ethernet SFP/RJ45 combo uplinks ports or 4 fixed 10 Gigabit Ethernet SFP+ uplinks ports. The PoE+ supported models have a power budget of up to 740W. Security with 802.1X support for connected devices, Switched Port Analyser (SPAN) and Bridge Protocol Data Unit (BPDU) Guard round off the security features. Compact fanless models with a depth of less than 33 cm (13 inches) are also available. Device management support with over-the-air access via Bluetooth, SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol), RJ-45 or USB console access greatly simplifies management and configuration. These switches have high reliability thanks to the higher MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) and improved support with limited lifetime warranty (E-LLW).
Power over Ethernet
With Power over Ethernet, you can supply compatible devices with power via the network cable. Especially for end devices such as wireless access points, IP telephones and IP cameras, this reduces the cabling effort and at the same time gives you a high degree of flexibility in the placement of the end devices.
802.3at PoE+
The IEEE 802.3at standard offers a maximum of 25.4 watts of power on each PoE+ port with a voltage of up to 50 volts. The standard assumes that 21.90 watts of usable power remain or may be consumed after line losses in order not to exceed the maximum power output. A Cat5e/6 cable with a maximum length of 100 metres is recommended for PoE+.
