Münsterlingen Primary School, with locations in Scherzingen and Landschlacht, has 310 pupils in 12 primary school classes and 5 kindergartens. It was already clear in 2018 that the new modular curriculum ‘Media and Information Technology’ was coming – and that this would require a suitable infrastructure.

From the outset, the goal was to provide both teachers and pupils with the best possible equipment. Lessons in cycles 1 to 4 are designed to be inclusive, while in years 5 and 6, in-depth modules with specific teaching materials are used.

Initially, existing laptops were used, but it quickly became clear that the iPad was ideal for younger children. It is intuitive, versatile and, with the use of keyboards and pens, can even be used like a MacBook. Cycles 1 and 2 have individually adapted app environments. At the request of the upper school, additional MacBook were purchased – for example, for writing longer texts.

The school receives reliable technical and educational support from DQ Solutions. In addition to the school's internal iScout, which helps with acute problems, DQ Solutions is a strong partner in the planning, implementation and further development of the digital infrastructure.
