FAQ

What happens in the event of liquid damage?

In 9 out of 10 cases of liquid damage, a short circuit occurs. However, the voltage on the circuit boards is low. For this reason, liquid damage is usually not enough to cause irreversible damage.

All systems are designed to shut down in the event of liquid damage so that the systems cannot be switched on again. However, if you allow the appliance to dry out, you will find that you can switch it back on after a few days.

The most important thing to remember is that simply drying the liquid-damaged appliance will not stop corrosion. Over time, corrosion will develop and slowly spread. Even if the appliance dries completely, some minerals will remain from the liquid, which will not disappear with normal drying.

To stop the corrosion, the appliance must be cleaned, as we do in our process. The sooner the appliance is cleaned, the higher the success rate of the appliance recovery. After Techsave cleaning, corrosion no longer occurs.
