Thanks to the Power Delivery (PD) protocol, the charging process is adapted to the needs of the connected devices. The extensive protection mechanisms prevent overvoltage and overcurrent as well as overheating and short circuits. Thanks to the use of the latest gallium nitride (GaN) technology, charging efficiency is high and heat generation is comparatively low, which enables the Power Adapter 35W to have a small form factor.
