Digital media in schools.
Digital learning continues.
In recent years, some schools have realized how exciting and useful digital media can be for teaching and learning. The teaching was completely turned upside down. Numerous new challenges and obstacles dominated everyday school life. There was little time for reflection, careful planning, and thorough reflection.
Already in the first days of remote teaching, it became apparent which solutions worked smoothly and which did not.
Some schools purchased or rented tablets on short notice. Less tech-savvy teachers compensated for their technical shortcomings with extraordinary commitment. Classroom teaching was switched from one day to the next to digital distance learning.
Now it is about maintaining such solutions and teaching methods - even after the Corona period - and possibly expanding them. Now is a good time to reflect, optimize, and further develop school and teaching. We can help you with this.
Distance learning. Here's how it works.
- The teacher is organizing a video conference.
- With the FaceTime app, up to 32 people can join simultaneously.
- Teachers and learners work for free from the commissioning to the correction of a task. App Schoolwork
A possible scenario of the so-called distance learning or home schooling.
«Dear class. The assignments are available in the Schoolwork app. There you will find all the materials and apps you need to complete the tasks. Once an assignment is finished, you can submit the results back to me through Schoolwork. I will then correct your work and return it to you. If you have any questions about the assignments, I can be reached via FaceTime. At 9:00 AM, I will call everyone again. Those who have no questions can continue working immediately. Those who are struggling with the tasks, I will continue to support via video conference.»
Required prerequisites.
