2TB SSD 525, 2048 GB, Seagate IronWolf
3D NAND flash memory technology
This SSD utilises the advanced 3D NAND flash memory technology. The vertical arrangement of the storage cells means that previous density limits - typical for NAND storage media with a flat cell structure - can be overcome and even more data can be saved per storage cell. This makes the SSD faster, more durable and significantly more energy-efficient.
NVMe protocol for lower latencies
This SSD particularly shines in systems with NVMe support. You benefit from high throughput, high IOPS and low latency. In contrast to the older AHCI protocol, which was developed for conventional, spinning drives, NVMe prevents performance degradation, offers faster transfer of large amounts of data, increased boot speeds and improved system response time.
High speed thanks to direct PCIe connection
With this SSD, data is transferred via PCI Express, leaving conventional SATA SSDs far behind in terms of transfer rate. M.2 SSDs are installed via the M.2 socket on the mainboard. Due to their compact dimensions, they are particularly suitable for use in ultrabooks and mini PCs, but can also be used in normal computers.
