V-NAND 3bit MLC

The SSD 870 EVO utilises the advanced V-NAND 3bit MLC flash memory technology. The vertical arrangement of the memory cells means that previous density limits - typical for NAND storage media with a flat cell structure - can be overcome and even more data can be saved per memory cell. This makes the SSD faster, more durable and significantly more energy-efficient.

Rapid speed

You can activate "Rapid Mode" and optimise performance using the Magician software supplied. Free RAM is used as a cache to process data at system level. This means you can expect higher performance and more efficient command processing, which means repetitive tasks are completed more quickly.

Even when the SSD is working under high pressure, it never runs the risk of getting too hot. This is ensured by "Dynamic Thermal Guard", which protects against overheating and the resulting loss of data.
