Integrated motion sensor that mutes the microphone when not in use

The Philips SpeechMike Premium Air has an integrated motion sensor. The motion sensor detects when the device is placed on the table and mutes the microphone. As soon as you pick it up again, the microphone is reactivated. In addition, user-defined settings can be made so that the device automatically pauses and resumes recording.

Intuitive dictation with speech recognition even without cables

Uncompressed wireless recording allows the dictator to move freely and set the pace themselves. Your recordings are transmitted to the computer at a distance of up to 5 metres from the workstation without interruptions and in the highest quality. State-of-the-art technology ensures that every word is clearly captured from the moment the record button is pressed.

Native Nuance speech recognition support for easy 'plug-and-play' installation

Designed to work seamlessly with Nuance speech recognition, the Philips SpeechMike is also supported by leading hospital information systems (HIS), radiology information systems (RIS) and picture archiving and communication systems (PACS). With native, built-in support for these systems, users can simply plug in and start using the device immediately, with no additional installation steps required.

High-quality docking station for quick charging and easy pairing of the device

The sturdy and innovative docking station charges the device wirelessly in no time and enables quick pairing between the device and the docking station. Docking station and device are not tied to each other, giving the user flexibility to use multiple docking stations. With an optional foot switch on the docking station, dictation can also be done without using the hands. The wireless AirBridge adapter (available as an accessory) is a mobile, lightweight alternative to the docking station for connection between microphone and computer.

Comfortable operation with wear-free slide switch and push buttons

The SpeechMike Premium Air is available in a version with a wear-free slide switch as well as in a version with push buttons. The slide switch is ergonomically shaped and has a slightly ribbed surface, which makes operation easier and particularly pleasant and intuitive. Thanks to its contactless slider detection, which has been tried and tested millions of times, the slider is also completely wear-free and therefore particularly durable.
