From “le menu” to “Annabelle”.
Following the acquisition of the cooking magazine 'le menu', several leading trade publications in the field of building technology followed, as well as 'Annabelle', the largest women's magazine in Switzerland. Since then, Medienart has focused on the specialist area and on special-interest topics. The company operates at four locations: Zurich, Aarau, Baar, and Bösingen, employing over 70 staff members.
From Windows to Apple.
Initially, work was done on Windows devices at Medienart. However, media production requires a flexible environment to not constrain creativity. Moreover, the staff are often on the move and need reliable mobile devices with long battery life and fast processors. The Apple ecosystem combines all these features, making it a perfect fit for Medienart.
