The DQ Backup Combo Service offers a very efficient automation of data backup. The backup client on the customer infrastructure can be configured individually. The selected data is automatically transferred by the Restore Software in the defined cycle and pre-encrypted from the customer to MOUNT10 in the SWISS FORT KNOX.
10 years of data history included
The transmitted data is highly encrypted and cannot be overwritten or altered. DQ Backup Combo offers a data history of 10 years or longer (unlimited data history). The history is included in the backup service.
SWISS FORT KNOX I & II
The data is encrypted and stored redundantly in the most secure data centers in Europe. The data is stored exclusively in Switzerland.
10 years of unalterable data history
The data history is completely write-protected and the month-end balances are immutable. Longer retention is possible.
Recovery and Disaster Option
Data can be restored at any time easily via the software client. Optionally, data can be delivered to the customer on a physical medium.
Service Operation Center (SOC)
MOUNT10 checks the backup process daily and proactively contacts in case of irregularities. The SOC is available 24/7 to assist customers with any questions.
End-to-end encryption
The data is encrypted locally on the Microsoft or Google infrastructure using AES 256-bit encryption before the data is transferred. Only the customer has access to their secured data.
Encryption Key
With the encryption key, the data is encrypted. Only the owner of the key can access the data. If lost, the data cannot be restored.

Isn't Microsoft responsible for data backup?
No. Microsoft ensures the availability of the Microsoft 365 platform through geo-redundancy. Furthermore, Microsoft only offers (temporary) availability of data.
