With Cloud 2 Cloud, data can be easily, securely, and directly transferred and stored encrypted to MOUNT10 in the Swiss Fort Knox without detours.
MOUNT10
On the Cloud 2 Cloud web portal, a connection is established to the Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace platform. The email, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams data are selected and backed up directly to MOUNT10 on a regular cycle. In the case of Google Workspace, this includes the Gmail, Drive, and Classroom data.

SWISS FORT KNOX I & II
The data is encrypted and stored redundantly in the most secure data centers in Europe. The data is stored exclusively in Switzerland.
Web-based backup
With Cloud 2 Cloud, no software needs to be installed. Thanks to the direct connection between Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace and MOUNT10, the backup is performed automatically on a daily basis.
Data recovery
Data can be easily restored to Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace. 'Instant Data' also offers the possibility to restore data directly on a local infrastructure.
Service Operation Center (SOC)
MOUNT10 checks the backup process daily and proactively contacts in case of irregularities. The SOC is available 24/7 to assist customers with any questions.
End-to-end encryption
The data is encrypted locally on the Microsoft or Google infrastructure using AES 256-bit encryption before the data is transferred. Only the customer has access to their secured data.
password
With the password, an encryption key is generated. Only the owner of the password can access the data. If lost, the data cannot be restored.
responsibility
Isn't Microsoft responsible for data backup?
No. Microsoft ensures the availability of the Microsoft 365 platform through geo-redundancy. Furthermore, Microsoft only offers (temporary) availability of data.
Expand availability
Microsoft 365 does not have a comprehensive backup solution. Data that exceeds the retention period can no longer be restored.
Protection against ransomware attacks
Microsoft expressly points out that no point-in-time data recovery can be made for Exchange data. A separate copy of the data enables quick recovery in the event of an attack.

How does DQ Backup – Cloud 2 Cloud work?
As part of the Cloud to Cloud solution (hereinafter referred to as C2C), there is a web portal in Microsoft's Azure Cloud. The C2C web portal is operated by MOUNT10's long-standing partner and software manufacturer Redstor. This platform ensures the connection between Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace and MOUNT10.
