Voicepoint Argon® Lex enhances speech recognition with Voicepoint Helium® by expanding the vocabulary with specialised medical terminology.
Voicepoint Argon® Lex allows you to extend Voicepoint Helium® with specialised vocabulary for various medical fields. It includes Switzerland-specific terms such as place names and medications. This extension ensures high recognition accuracy from the outset – without requiring additional training. The correction effort is noticeably reduced, especially for specialist texts. Custom terms can also be added on request.
Specialised and personal vocabularies as an add-on module.
Voicepoint Helium includes, out of the box, a medical base vocabulary covering terms from various medical specialties. However, terminology, specific formulations and abbreviations vary significantly between practices, clinics or hospitals. New terms, designations or medications are frequently introduced and should be included in the vocabulary for optimal performance. Using Voicepoint Argon® Lex tools, large volumes of documents are analysed to create vocabularies for various medical fields.
In addition to the standard Voicepoint Argon® Lex vocabularies, Voicepoint optionally offers custom vocabulary adaptation tailored to your specific needs. By processing your personal documents – such as reports, diagnoses, letters or expert opinions – the vocabulary is fine-tuned to your individual texts.
