Can accessories and extended warranties be financed in the ReFresh program?

If one chooses a device with residual value (iPad models), accessories and warranty extensions can be financed together with the iPad. Accessories and warranties are calculated in the payment method 'Financing with ReFresh (HeyLight) with a final installment of CHF 0.- (no residual value) and they belong to the buyer after payment.

What do you need to do when you want to switch to a new device?

If one wishes to trade in old devices and upgrade to new devices in the last month of the contract term, one can save the remaining installment (residual value) and conclude a new ReFresh contract with a new term for the desired new devices. If the devices cost the same, one simply continues to pay the same low monthly rate or a slightly higher rate if the devices are more expensive.

Devices are covered by the regular Apple warranty. If the duration is longer than the warranty or devices are accidentally damaged, the educational institution is responsible for having the devices repaired at an authorized Apple Service Partner at their own expense. We recommend selecting one of the extended warranty packages in addition to the purchase of the devices if one wishes to cover this risk.

In what condition must the devices be upon return?

(The following notes are informative, the contract concluded between the customer and HeyLight for the return of the device applies.) If devices are in used, but good and fully functional condition, they can be returned at the guaranteed residual value and upgraded to new devices. DQ Solutions checks the condition of the devices upon receipt. If the condition is worse than the required minimum, the residual value can be reduced according to the defects of the devices.
